Stars shine at the talent show
Students showed off their charisma and star performances at the 2008 Talent Show that was held at the Fieldhouse on April 27.
This year's talent show almost failed to take place because of the lack of money the school had funded for clubs. With the funding from the Student Government Association Executive Board and organization from the College Republicans, the show went on.…

NYC Trip:A poetic experiment
Up in the morning to that eastern blinding sun
Off to DnD's for a quick breakfast run
The coffee iced and awaking, deliciously cold
Waiting for a day in the Big Apple to unfold
By 8 a.m. the coach bus wheels were rolling
12, 202, 2, 91 and 95 numbers most know well
Not getting much sleep the night before
The hangover bell blues ringing loud, tolling
My eyes, heavy, making it really hard to spell
Be hearing soon the city that never sleeps, it's roaring
Many thanks go out to Jacki Alessio
The PAC Travel coordinator endured months of planning
Her hard work paid off, it definitely shows
37 FP students up early but still smiling
Visions of Leonardo DiCaprio and Daniel Day Lewis begin to appear
No milkshakes at hand, No drinking allowed
The fighting of Gangs of New York I begin to hear
New Hampshire and Massachusetts begin to choke on our dust cloud
The city skyline appears in the distance
I-95 into the city dodging traffic very tricky
Hitting every light down to the Battery slowed us down
Finally landing at Battery Park by flying on the seats of our pants
The streets seems fairly clean only somewhat icky
Thru strict security our group emerges and is Statue of Liberty bound
Time being tight a choice became apparently at hand
Most chose Liberty Island as their point to land
Others stayed on the cruise heading for the next port of call
Ellis Island, the next stop, a place history buffs can have a ball
3:30 p.…

"But Robbie!" yells the devout religious reader, "God loves every single one of us!" Oh really? Does he really love us that much? Well I have two words that will force you to agree with me and accept the fact that God despises every inch of our being: Paris Hilton.…
