The "Inside Look" Podcast is created by the staff of the Pierce Media Group.
This podcast takes an inside look at issues affecting society. Not only will the podcast include and inside look of issues but at lives of people affecting society. Your professor, to presidential hopefulls, to your grandmother, we will have it all.
Featured guests include: Former Speaker of the House-Newt Gingrich, New Hampshire State Senate President Ms. Sylvia Larsen, and NH Political Columnist for the Boston Globe James Pindell.
The Pierce Media Group is operated by all Franklin Pierce University students. Involvment in the media group is a learning experience while stressing professionalism, sound and reliable journalism, and the experience of a life time.
Franklin Pierce University is located in Rindge New Hampshire. New Hampshire is the home to the first in the nation primary.

Student Media Press Conferences
The Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communication, Franklin Pierce University and the Pierce Media Group in Rindge, New Hampshire have launched the Fitzwater Connection initiative.
The Fitzwater Connection project is meant to give Student Media, the Voters and Franklin Pierce Students the opportunity to connect with candidates for our nations highest office.
Sam Donaldson an ABC news anchor/commentator, and legendary member of the Washington Press Corps once said to an audience at Franklin Pierce, "The Marlin Fitzwater Center is going to be a place where students can learn the principles of integrity, of public policy, of doing things right when it comes to communicating information from our government, or officials of any other bureaucracy, to the public.”
By holding Student Media press conferences and helping foster personal growth while being apart of history- the institution, its students, and the Fitzwater Center comes closer to achieving its goals.

Arkansas Former Governor Mike Huckabee prior to an event at Franklin Pierce University, in a Student Media Press conference talks about his latest surge in Iowa, and in New Hampshire, and his support for the processes in the two states. Huckabee talks about filing for the New Hampshire Primary, which he will do in the afternoon after talking at Franklin Pierce. Huckabee says money has taken a lot of control of government, and the press has focused on who has raised money but not the ideas, and that adds credibility to the candidate with the money. In the press conference, Huckabee fired at Fred Thompson staying persistent with the challenge, to Thompson about holding a Lincoln Douglas Style debate. Huckabee, in his event at Pierce, expressed his interest in overhauling the “broken tax system," and to transform the healthcare system. Interesting note, Huckabee a Boston Fan admires the Red Sox, but was a Yankees fan growing up. His true baseball love, is the Texas Rangers, but said they wont make the World Series in his life time. 2. Tom Tancredo- NH Student Media Press Conference
Tom Tancredo, a native of, Colorado has represented Colorado's 6th Congressional district since 1998. Tom is a schoolteacher by trade; and taught for several years at Drake Junior High before serving in the Colorado Legislature and in the Department of Education under Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush. Tom has written about the dangers of illegal immigration in his 2006 book, In Mortal Danger: The Battle for America's border and Security. Tom is a member of both the House International Relations and Resources Committees. As a member of the International Relations Subcommittee on Africa. Congressman Tancredo has not announced his bid for the White House but his campaign remains in the exploratory stages. Tancredo said, that they expect to announce soon, because they seem to be meeting fundraising goals for the first quarter. Tancredo said he fully supports New Hampshire?s first in the nation primary, and it gives people like him with not a lot of money to get their message out. Tancredo spoke to New Hampshire student media via Fitzcast live from Franklin Pierce University?s Manchester campus as the part of the Fitzwater Center Primary Connection Student Media Press conferences. The Pierce Media Group Fitzwater Center Political News update takes a weekly look at New Hampshire Politics, Inclduing the run for the presidency in 2008, and the New Hampshire Primary.
Members of the Pierce Media Group Political News team, have been working hard since the start of the cycle to get the most up to date political news to its interested readers, viewers and listeners.
Students at Franklin Pierce University have the opportunity to meet with candidates at campus events, state events, house parties and at town hall style meetings. The political reporters get out in the field and are not afraid to ask those questions the listeners want to here.
The Fitzwater Connections staff made of reporters, Camera operators, editors and podcasters are led by student Fellow, Steven E. Dodrill. Dodrill is a former Pierce Media Group News Director, and current political director for the University.
Dodrill has his content featured on 95.9 WATD FM in Marshfield, MA.
